Dogs are our best friends, and teach us the power and joy of unconditional love.

This sculpture "Best Friend" is based on my dog Barney.  He is a Golden Retriever/ Chow mix- a big guy at 90 lbs. He is a noble, happy, brave companion.

It is made of cold-cast bronze- a high quality resin with powdered bronze and is about 5.5 inches tall.

Among Far Eastern cultures it was believed that the turtle’s back symbolized Heaven and that its underside represented Earth.
